Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and delivery of home care and respite services.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.


Key Responsibilities

* Leadership: Provide leadership and effectively manage the provision of high quality, compliant and consumer directed services.
* Program Management: Manage and drive our growing Echuca Home Care Program.
* Business Development: Develop and implement fee for service approaches and ensure that the programs operate within agreed resource frameworks and financial targets.
* Care Planning: Ensure client assessments are conducted as required and ensure consultation with clients and/or their carers in the development of individual goals to maintain or improve independence.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in management, business or related discipline.
* Aged Care Knowledge: Sound knowledge of aged care and business development.
* Comprehensive Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of best practice and experience in assessment, care planning and service delivery to older persons living in the community.
* Financial Management: Experience and expertise in working within and monitoring budgets.
* Team Leadership: Experience and expertise in the leadership and development of a cohesive team, to support staff in the delivery of high quality services.
* Risk Management: Understanding and experience in identifying and managing risk in the community aged care.

Selection Criteria

* Working With Children's Check: Current Working With Children's Check card.
* Australian Working Rights: Full Australian working rights.
* Police Records Check: Current police records check or NDIS (as required) (or be willing to undertake this process).
* Flu Vaccination: Current and ongoing flu vaccinations.
