About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant New Car Sales Manager to join our team in Sydney.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Sales Manager in planning, managing, and leading the New Vehicle Sales team to achieve exceptional results.
* Drive sales targets, gross profit margins, and compliance standards through effective leadership and supervision.
* Mentor and guide Sales Consultants to ensure urgency, precision, and customer-first service.
* Oversee daily sales operations, lead management, and vehicle deliveries to ensure seamless customer experiences.
* Ensure accurate documentation and use of dealership systems for efficient business processes.
* Manage vehicle stock, display, and presentation standards across the showroom and yard to maintain high-quality displays.
* Built strong relationships with customers aligning with our 'Customer-First' philosophy.
* Promote and embody the Phil Gilbert Motor Group's core values: love what you do, make it right, be easy to do business with, and always strive to be better.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in automotive sales with a history of achieving high-volume sales and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and guide a team.
* Able to work towards targets, KPIs, and compliance standards.
* Familiarity with DMS/CRM systems for efficient workflow management.
* A proactive and customer-focused mindset with ability to act with urgency and precision.
* Able to work an 11-day fortnight including weekends.
