We are dedicated to creating exceptional food and wine experiences, with a strong focus on seasonal, sustainable, and locally sourced produce. Estate-grown ingredients play a key role in our menu, with dishes thoughtfully designed to complement and showcase our wines.
The restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday for lunch (from 11am), with dinner service on Friday and Saturday evenings.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in crafting refined, seasonal desserts and baked goods, with a strong emphasis on presentation, flavour balance, and consistency. You will be responsible for leading the pastry section, contributing to menu development, and delivering high-quality desserts that enhance the overall dining experience.
Working alongside our Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills in a supportive, produce-driven kitchen.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Strong experience in pastry, dessert, and baking techniques
* Creativity and passion for developing seasonal dessert menus
* Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently during prep and service
* High attention to detail, especially in plating and presentation
* Consistency in delivering high-quality products
* Ability to work calmly under pressure with a positive attitude
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Experience working with local and seasonal produce (preferred)
