Job Title: Business Development Manager – AI & Data Services

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

Company: Firesoft Services (FSS)

Firesoft Services is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow our AI, Data and Automation consulting business. This role is focused on selling and delivering end-to-end AI and data projects into mid-market and enterprise organisations.

This is not a pure lead generation role. We are looking for someone who understands how to identify opportunities, shape consulting engagements, work with technical teams, and manage the commercial and client relationship through to delivery and expansion.

About the Role

You will be responsible for identifying and winning new consulting engagements across AI, data, analytics, automation and cloud projects. This includes working with clients from initial discussion through to proposal, commercial negotiation, project kickoff and ongoing account growth.

You will work closely with senior consultants, data engineers, AI specialists and delivery teams to structure pilot engagements, roadmaps, and larger transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop new business opportunities across AI, data and analytics consulting
* Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through to deal close and project kickoff
* Work with technical teams to scope and structure AI and data engagements
* Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Data, Digital and Transformation leaders
* Write proposals, SOWs and commercial models for consulting engagements
* Manage client relationships during delivery and identify follow-on work
* Build a strong pipeline across enterprise and mid-market organisations
* Contribute to Firesoft Services AI and data go-to-market strategy

Required Experience

* Proven experience selling end-to-end technology or consulting projects
* Strong background in Data, Analytics, AI, Automation or Cloud projects
* Experience selling consulting services, project services or managed services
* Ability to engage with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
* Experience with proposals, SOWs, commercial models and project delivery environments
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills
* Self-driven and comfortable working in a growing business

Ideal Background

* Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud data platforms
* Data engineering, BI, analytics or automation projects
* Consulting firms, system integrators, or technology services companies
* Experience selling pilot projects, discovery engagements, or transformation programs
