Why do we need you?
As a CAPEX & FMH Buyer VIE, located at the North America Headquarters, you will support daily transactional duties related to Materials Handling Equipment (MHE), Heavy Duty Equipment (HDE), and Auto Fleet Programs, reporting to the Category Manager of FMH. You will also report to the Director of CAPEX purchasing and support capital projects across North America.
This role covers all businesses across North America, focusing on the acquisition and management of production/CAPEX equipment and vehicles for our sales teams, including maintenance, spare parts, and other services.
Main responsibilities:
1. Support day-to-day operations and manage projects across categories: Auto Fleet, Material Handling, Heavy Duty Equipment, and CAPEX.
2. Manage projects for CertainTeed and HPS Business Units (Capex & FMH).
3. Process bids and requests for quotes.
4. Communicate with business unit site stakeholders and suppliers.
5. Analyze proposals and bids to ensure compliance.
6. Write and submit CAPEX+ proposals for business units.
7. Generate Framework Purchase Requisitions for Business Units.
Work across more than 10 businesses, learn about diverse products and manufacturing processes, travel to some of our 200+ manufacturing facilities, and collaborate with project managers on-site and from our HQ in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Additional information:
This is a non-extendable 18-month mission. Some days may be work-from-home, according to HR and VIE policies.
