Job Overview:
The role of Events Coordinator plays a vital part in delivering engaging store activities and community projects that enhance the shopping experience for our customers, as well as foster relationships within the local community.
About the Role:
* Develop and manage all store events, including workshops, demonstrations, family nights, and event planning to create an enjoyable atmosphere for customers
* Deliver workshops and community projects at local schools and community groups to promote social connections and skills development
* Manage donations and fundraising activities for local schools and community groups to support their growth and development
* Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, serving as the primary point of contact at your local store
* Promote and communicate store events and activities, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for contributing to and being involved in community activities
* Ability to motivate and influence team members in-store to achieve shared goals
* Confidence to develop and grow relationships with community groups and individuals
* Creativity to design and deliver engaging workshops and events that cater to diverse interests
* Strong organisational skills to plan, coordinate, and execute events effectively
