These positions include both in-home and community support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and help them to build independence through working towards individual goals.
Responsibilities
* Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
* Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
* Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans and in your own vehicle)
* Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
* Building positive relationships with clients
What You'll Bring (Qualifications and Requirements)
* A can-do attitude and growth mindset — you're open to learning and ready to make a difference
* Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion and enthusiasm is key
* NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above)
* Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
* Availability across a variety of shift times, including early mornings, day shifts, afternoons & evenings, and awake overnights
Availability notes: Preference will be given to candidates with availability to cover the early morning shifts throughout the week at our Lambton location.
