Of One Mind is a non‐profit organisation dedicated to cultural initiatives that address crucial social issues. By organising events, fostering partnerships, and supporting artists and arts organisations, the organisation creates impactful cultural programs. For the past seven years, Of One Mind has focused on growing the WOW - Women of the World movement across Australia and the Asia Pacific, in collaboration with the WOW Foundation London. WOW Australia festivals and events have successfully been held in Queensland, Northern Territory and New South Wales over the past thirteen years, promoting meaningful societal impact.
Role Description
This is a part‐time role based in Brisbane QLD, for the position of Development Manager. The Development Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing fundraising strategies, identifying and cultivating donor relationships, and preparing sponsorship/partnership proposals. They will work collaboratively with the team to secure funding, manage donor communications, and ensure financial targets are met to support the organisation's mission. Activities will also include budget reporting, event participation, and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated success in fundraising or development roles within arts, cultural, not‐for‐profit, or events‐based organisations.
* Proven ability to secure income across corporate sponsorship, philanthropy and individual giving in Queensland.
* Strong relationship management and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and grant writing.
* Experience working with Boards and fundraising committees.
* Experience of database management and grant making platforms.
* Knowledge of the Brisbane, Queensland and Australian philanthropic and government funding landscape.
* Passion for arts, culture, festivals, cultural and social impact.
