Sales Architect
We are seeking a Sales Architect to provide pre‐sales support for all KnowBe4 products, ensuring technical solutions meet customer needs and eliminating barriers to purchase and adoption.
Responsibilities
* Technical Leadership:
o Serve as a product authority both internally and externally
o Troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative product showcases
o Lead product feedback discussions and collaborate with Product Management
o Develop and deliver advanced product training sessions
* Strategic Sales Engagement:
o Work strategically with prospects in close coordination with sales representatives
o Comfortably engage with corporate leadership in prospect organizations
o Navigate and communicate across disparate technical teams in prospect organizations
o Lead cross‐functional SE projects, coordinating efforts across teams and departments
* Mentorship and Team Development:
o Regularly mentor junior Sales Engineers
o Generate and facilitate SE enablement and development initiatives
o Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both Sales and technical teams
o Influence team direction and establish best practices
* Advanced Problem Solving:
o Resolve moderate to complex technical issues without guidance
o Support other SEs in solving technical problems as an escalation point
o Develop foresight to understand and call out potential technical challenges
* Business and Sales Strategy:
o Handle senior‐level strategy conversations at the enterprise level with minimal support
o Make informed recommendations on sales strategies to senior leaders
o Develop playbooks for complex sales scenarios, integrating technical knowledge with sales strategies
* Customer Engagement:
o Independently develop and execute POV evaluation plans
o Incorporate broader business impact and ROI discussions into customer interactions
o Craft compelling narratives showcasing how multiple products address specific customer pain points
* Competitive Intelligence:
o Clearly articulate core differentiators versus top five competitors
Minimum Qualifications
* 2‐year degree or technical degree preferred
* 3‐6 years of technical sales or sales engineering experience required
* Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
* Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
* Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
* Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity and related technologies
* Proven track record of successful enterprise‐level sales engagements
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities
* Highly organized and result‐oriented
* Excellent time management and organization skills
* Can demonstrate technical troubleshooting and analysis ability
* Experience with security awareness concepts and mail environments
* Familiarity with cybersecurity and general business concepts
* Can demonstrate integrity, accountability, respect and commitment
* Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision
