Job Description
We’re looking for a Group Activation Director (FTC) to join our Investment leadership team. This is a senior, high-impact role where you’ll lead a talented Activation team, shape investment strategy, and partner with some of Australia’s most recognised brands.

What you’ll be doing
Lead & inspire
* Lead and develop a high‑performing Activation team
* Act as a trusted mentor and escalation point, inspiring confidence, clarity and momentum
* Oversee workflow, resourcing and capability planning across the group
Drive client & commercial success
* Own investment delivery across a client portfolio spanning offline, BVOD, audio and integrated partnerships
* Lead major media negotiations and trading strategies alongside the Head of Investment
* Partner with senior clients (Marketing Director level and above) as a trusted advisor
* Ensure performance against client KPIs, audits and commercial benchmarks
Shape the future
* Help evolve Spark Foundry’s Activation product and investment philosophy
* Champion innovative trading models and emerging media opportunities
* Play a key role in new business pitches, pricing and activation responses
* Advocate for Spark Foundry in‑market through strong media owner relationships and agency leadership
What you’ll bring
* Extensive experience in media investment and activation leadership
* Proven success leading and developing senior teams
* Strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of the media marketplace
* Commercial acumen with a clear focus on ROI and value delivery
* Confident, influential communication style with strong client presence
