As our workload and fleet continue to grow, we are looking for a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic who wants to work in an environment where standards matter, safety isn't lip service, and good work doesn't go unnoticed. This role suits someone who values variety, understands the importance of planned maintenance, and takes responsibility for the condition of the machines they work on.

The role
In this role you will:
* Carry out repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on heavy earthmoving plant
* Respond to breakdowns on site
* Complete maintenance records and support planned maintenance schedules
* Contribute to safe work practices and tidy, efficient work areas
About you
We welcome applicants with proven experience and who are trade qualified.
You'll bring:
* Experience as a Diesel Fitter working on heavy plant
* Sound mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliability, self-motivation, and a strong safety focus
* Physically fit for the demands of the role
* Current driver's licence
* Availability to work 5–6 days per week, with some flexibility for the right candidate
Location
Initially you will work with the team at our Hastings workshop until you find your feet, then there will be some field work along with travel to active job sites as required.
