As a key member of the educational team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.
About the Role
This fixed-term position is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and culinary arts. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans, assist with daily preparation, and ensure the smooth operation of the food technology centre.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintenance of the food technology centre, including equipment, facilities, and storage of food, materials, and equipment.
* Supporting teachers in the classroom, including preparing for teaching and learning activities.
* Providing administrative assistance to enable teachers to focus on teaching and learning.
* Ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Food Safety Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
* A First Aid Certificate.
* A current driver's licence.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
* Ability to use online ordering systems and computer programs.

Working Conditions
This is a fixed-term position, commencing 28/1/2025 and concluding 19/12/2025. The time fraction can be negotiated for the right applicant. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and school holidays, is essential.
