Callidus has had a long history of committing to Australian Apprenticeships and we are looking for an Apprentice to join for our busy Workshop in Yarrawonga.
The successful applicants will receive comprehensive training in valve fitting, machining, pressure testing and thermal spraying in addition to strong mentorship by our experienced personnel. Depending upon the applicant's interest and skill level, training may also be offered in other areas and work options in other locations.
Experience:
* A mechanical aptitude
* Willingness to apply 100% positive and proactive attitude in all disciplines
* Must be willing to commit to several years with the company to fulfil the apprenticeship requirements and develop a further career on completion
* Must have the ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines
* Completion of pre-apprenticeship in a similar industry is advantageous
* Safety is important to us, and we expect that you will have a high regard for safety, environmental and PPE requirements
* Ability to work in an adaptable team and under own initiative
* Good problem solving and decision-making skills
* Track record of being attentive to accuracy and detail in their work
