**About the role
This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating Food Services at Ipswich Hospital. This position supports manage the Food Services team by coordinating distribution and production services to meet organisational goals. This position will liaise with multi-disciplinary team to provide a timely and responsive Food Service.
About you
- Demonstrate appropriate experience which relate to the Food service
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use initiative, work with a minimum of supervision, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multidisciplinary team.
- An understanding and appreciation of the need for client/patient and facility confidentiality, privacy and abide by the Code of Conduct at all times
- Understanding of or an ability to acquire knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control practices, food safety standards, workplace health and safety, total quality management, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour as applied in the working environment.
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
