About the role
Join us as our Executive Assistanton a permanent full-time basisand be valued for who you are.
Based in Avondale Care in the beautiful Cooranbong area surrounded by the Watagans National Park, the role coordinates the smooth and efficient running of the General Manager and Clinical Manager of Avondale Care, by providing executive administration support on a daily basis and contributes to the success of the organisational business objectives.
As a valued member of the Avondale Care team you will contribute by:-
* Providing executive administrative support to the General Manager (GMAC) and Clinical Manager (CMAC) Avondale Care
* Providing relief for other administration roles under direction of the GMAC/CMAC including Reception, Client Services Officer, Rostering Coordinator for planned and unplanned leave
* Purchasing of clinical and administrative supplies as required
* Maintain strict confidentiality for all meetings attended and work done
* Managing diaries and appointments
* Provide administrative support for Accreditation
* General administrative including document control in cloud system including archiving as required
* Undertake other ad hoc administrative tasks at the request of the GMAC and CMAC
* Take a leading role within the organisation in supporting the organisations signature behaviours to ensure a positive culture as part of The ASL Way
About you - Knowledge, Skills & Experience
You will bring to the role the following skills and experience:-
* Demonstrated experience in delivering administrative support services to a business unit/division. Preferably within health or aged care.
* Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and basic budget and database tools in finance, maintenance, clinical care and governance.
* Demonstrated skills and experience in:
o Writing and reporting
o Working with people
o Planning and organising
o Adapting and responding to change
o Coping with pressures and setbacks
* Demonstrated commitment to a positive organisational culture and ASL's signature behaviours of commitment, future, mission, respect and honesty.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening or a commitment to obtain
* Current driver's license.
* Have an understanding of, commitment to, and support the values, ethos and mission of Adventist Senior Living
You will also possess demonstrated skills and experience in being:-
* Pro-active and self-motivated
* Planning and organising
* Strategic thinker able to analyse and problem solve
* Australian working rights
* Current or willingness to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening ID
