Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join our team in Nowra. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering person-centred, inclusive and meaningful support to the people we serve.
You will be required to be available outside normal business hours, on weekends and public holidays to support service delivery. The Service will operate from 8:00am-10:00pm, seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all patients are appropriately triaged
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
* Provide essential health education to patients
* Work collaboratively with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
* Holds current AHPRA Registration
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in triage in an emergency department, remote nursing or urgent care setting
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/ or Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate
