Help shape the digital tools that power how thousands of people work every day as our new Digital Workplace Technical Business Analyst.
Join a growing team shaping how IAG delivers intelligent applications, automations and AI powered solutions across our digital workplace. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges, translate ideas into clear technical requirements, and help scope and deliver solutions using the Microsoft stack, Power Platform and emerging AI capabilities. In this role, you'll draw on a blend of business analysis, delivery coordination, financial insight and stakeholder engagement—supporting everything from discovery and estimation through to structuring work, validating solutions and ensuring accurate financial tracking across build and support activities. This is a permanent full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia.
What You'll Do
Lead discovery conversations with business stakeholders and translate requirements into clear, actionable documentation for engineering and development teams.
Build effort and cost estimates, business cases and benefits models that support sound solution decisions.
Structure delivery work into epics, features and user stories; support Agile stand ups, prioritisation, timelines and risk management.
Collaborate with technical teams to validate solution design and ensure alignment with business needs and constraints.
Track progress, financials and dependencies to help keep delivery on time and on budget.
Identify improvements across BA practices, documentation and delivery processes.
Build trusted relationships across IAG to surface new opportunities for automation, AI agents and digital workplace enhancements.
What You'll Bring
4+ years' experience in business analysis, requirements, systems analysis or solution evaluation.
Tools: strong Excel proficiency; experience with Jira and Confluence; exposure to Tableau/Power BI; knowledge of SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (or readiness to learn).
A collaborative and engaging style, with strong emotional intelligence that helps you build trust quickly and contribute to a supportive and diverse team culture.
You have a strong delivery mindset and feel confident organising work into epics, features and stories, managing timelines and risks, and supporting Agile ways of working.
Solid financial awareness and can model costs and benefits while keeping accurate tracking across both build and support activities.
You are naturally curious about how things can be improved and feel comfortable exploring opportunities for automation or AI, including communicating value and influencing stakeholders.
