About the Role Acciona is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Towers to lead and coordinate engineering and delivery activities associated with transmission tower steelwork. Reporting to the Project Manager – Towers, this role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant fabrication, delivery and erection of steel towers across multiple work fronts on a major infrastructure project.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day‐to‐day engineering and delivery activities for transmission tower steel constructionCoordinate fabrication, logistics, delivery and erection of tower steelworkEnsure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and Builder PSDR requirementsDevelop and support construction methodologies, sequencing and lift plansManage interfaces between steelworks, foundations, access, logistics and erection crewsOversee inspections, quality assurance, defect management and non‐conformance resolutionMonitor progress, manage risks and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiativesRequired SkillsTertiary qualification in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering (or related discipline)Significant experience as a Project or Senior Project Engineer on steel or heavy construction projectsStrong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection methodologies and sequencingProven experience managing subcontractors, cranes and complex construction interfacesExcellent planning, coordination, problem‐solving and stakeholder communication skills.Location and Conditions This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.What We Offer ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023 & 2024 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
