We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects across South Australia. This position will focus on applying strong engineering principles to support project execution while promoting a collaborative high-performance environment.
The selected candidate will have continuous project exposure, facilitating the further development of technical and project management skills. They will also have the opportunity to get exposure to tender bids and submissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure cost-effective construction methodologies and identify improvement areas.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical commercial and scheduling issues.
* Prepare variations claims and subcontract agreements.
* Plan procurement activities organise labour and equipment for supervisors.
* Develop ITPs/ITCs monitor quality plans and ensure compliance.
* Promote a strong safety culture through pre-starts and toolbox talks.
* Review CEMP and environmental procedures before work begins.
* Maintain QA documentation manage project closeout and finalize defect claims.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Civil Engineering
* 4+ years of Project Engineering experience in the Water utilities or transport spaces is highly desirable.
* Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels and other stakeholders as required.
* Strong in using Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.
* Pass a pre-employment medical and D&A.
