About the opportunity
As a Chef, you will provide quality food services to residents and support our Head Chef.
Duties include but not limited to
* Taking direction from the Head Chef
* Prepare well‑balanced and nutritional meals for residents
* Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control
* Purchase and order stock and equipment
* Ensure food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation
About you
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare
* Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
* Experience with texture modified food advantageous
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co‑workers
