Teaching Vacancy:
A Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS) Teacher is required to teach ATAR Politics & Law and other Humanities learning areas to students in Years 7 - 10.
The ideal candidate will have a strong general content knowledge for Years 7 - 10, with demonstrated success in teaching Politics & Law. They will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach ATAR Politics & Law and other Humanities learning areas to students in Years 7 - 10.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience in teaching Politics & Law ATAR.
2. Active support for the Edmund Rice Charism, Catholic ethos, and the College Mission.
3. Collaborative leadership experience gained within the education sector.
4. Comprehensive understanding of current educational issues, including Australian Curriculum and WACE courses.
5. Exemplary classroom practice, delivering education content with a commitment to teaching excellence.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
1. Tertiary qualification specific to the specialist area of education.
2. Current Teachers Registration Board registration.
3. Working with Children Check card.
4. Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic school or equivalent.
5. Mandatory Reporting training.
