Where You'll Be Working: Maitland Hospital is a major regional health facility delivering specialised care across a broad range of clinical services. About The Role: We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through safe, effective, and evidence-based medication management in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team across hospitalisation—from admission to discharge.
Responsibilities
* Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based medication management.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication use across all stages of hospitalisation.
* Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications
* Proof of eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Must demonstrate fulfilment of the criteria for grade 2 pharmacist in accordance with the Health Employees\' Pharmacists (State) Award.
* Hospital pharmacy experience is desirable.
