HR Consultant | Cairns (Full-time)
We're HR Dynamics. We work at the sharp end of HR. It's practical, fast-moving and client-driven.
We partner with leaders to lift capability, solve people problems, and build HR systems that actually work in the real world. Our work is fast-moving and client-driven. One minute our Consultant's are advising on a tricky termination, the next they are untangling an Award issue, drafting policies, or coaching a leader through a people problem they didn't see coming. This is hands-on HR, in real time.
The role
This role suits someone who is ready to move beyond entry-level HR and is looking ready to step into more responsibility, variety and complexity under the guidance of our senior HR team.
You'll work closely with experienced consultants and directly with clients across:
* HR audits and reviews
* Building tailored HR frameworks and documentation
* Recruitment and workforce support
* Performance reviews and performance management
* Managing and supporting employee relations matters, including redundancies and terminations
* Interpreting Awards, payroll and rates
* Drafting policies, letters and practical HR tools
* Supporting and contributing to training and development activities
Our clients range from large organisations to small businesses, which means you'll be constantly learning and adapting.
This is a full-time, office-based role in our Cairns office.
About you
You're confident in the fundamentals and ideally and interest in group training. You don't need to know everything, but you can think on your feet and ask the right questions.
You'll bring:
* Solid, hands-on HR generalist experience
* Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and NES
* Experience interpreting Awards
* Confidence drafting HR documents and policies
* The ability to manage shifting priorities
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* An interest in developing training capability
