We're partnering with a highly respected architecture and design studio with an established national Health team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early–mid career Health Architect, Designer or Health Planner looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a specialist health planner. The Opportunity
You'll join a collaborative, multidisciplinary health team, supporting senior health planners and contributing to the planning, briefing and documentation of complex, large-scale hospital and science facilities. This position offers exceptional professional development and is well-suited to someone keen to progress toward a future leadership role in health planning.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting in planning, briefing and documentation across major Health & Science projects
Supporting the development of client briefs and coordinating with consultants and contractors
Applying knowledge of AusHFGs, HPUs and health planning principles to ensure best-practice outcomes
Contributing to user group consultations and translating operational needs into functional layouts
Collaborating closely with architects, engineers and specialist health consultants
Assisting with project delivery across quality, time and budget targets
About You
You're detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about improving healthcare environments. You enjoy problem-solving, engaging with stakeholders, and working in a team that values design rigour and innovation.
We're looking for someone with:
3–6+ years' architectural or health planning experience
Demonstrated experience on healthcare projects (planning exposure highly regarded)
Strong understanding of workflows, spatial relationships and clinical operations
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Revit and dRofus
A proactive, collaborative mindset
