About the Role
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee and grow a national division of legal practice. You'll lead a high‑performing team, ensure compliance and quality assurance, develop strategic partnerships, and champion tech‑driven transformation in legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Together with other Heads of Practice, lead and support a national team of lawyers, conveyancers, and managers
- Provide strategic leadership aligned with governance and partnership requirements
- Ensure practice compliance with regulatory standards, service level agreements and internal policies
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in legal service delivery
- Oversee internal audits, complaints resolution, and quality assurance frameworks
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development
- Act as a key liaison with stakeholders, particularly real‑estate and financial partners
- Supervise the development of staff and lead structured learning and development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 5‑8+ years PAE in property law with a principal practising certificate (or ability to obtain one)
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring high‑performing legal teams in a dynamic regulatory environment
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and negotiation skills to drive collaboration and business success
- Demonstrated ability to execute business growth strategies, expand service offerings, and enhance operational efficiency
- Expertise in compliance, risk management, and governance with a focus on proactive leadership and strategic oversight
- Enthusiasm, confidence, energy and positivity
