What you will be doing:
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Lithgow Hospital on a permanent full time or part time basis.
This imperative role will see you provide safe and effective patient-centred nursing care to the patients/clients and carers of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
Your role as Registered Nurse will see you:
1. Demonstrate knowledge and application of the skills required of a registered nurse in contemporary nursing practice, including knowledge and understanding of appropriate equipment, legislation, policies and procedures
2. Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity and safety at all times
3. Utilise a proactive, problem solving approach in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all aspects of clinical care
4. Be actively involved in maintaining, implementing and updating patient care plans and clinical pathways

A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
