The Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) capability is a complex project that requires the expertise of skilled professionals. As an Assistant Product Manager, you will support the delivery and sustainment of this capability under the SHFC Program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Integrated Product Manager and Deputy Manager with budget, finance, and sustainment activities
* Support analysis and implementation of product management strategies to optimise Defence asset use
* Manage relationships with contractors to ensure timely communication on project requirements and risks
* Participate in acquisition program activities and working groups
* Provide feedback on deliverables and assist with transition tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project planning tools
* Experience working in fast paced project environments with cross functional teams, ideally from within Defence industry
* Knowledge of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) and Defence policies
* Ability to lead, coach, and support teams through strategy and change initiatives
