**About the role**:
The International team coordinates and administers South Australia's global network of seven international offices, delivers trade and investment market activation strategies, and supports broader South Australian Government priorities in target markets.

As the Events Coordinator, you will support the planning and delivery of high-impact international events, including Ministerial travel, business missions, and delegations, contributing directly to South Australia's global engagement strategy.

More specifically, you will:

- Coordinate travel bookings, accommodation, and itineraries for Ministerial and business delegations.
- Prepare meeting briefings, schedules, collateral, and travel documentation.
- Develop creative concepts for networking events and manage end-to-end project delivery and post-event analysis.
- Support event logistics including venue research, branded materials, and stakeholder liaison.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing high-quality briefings and correspondence aligned with government priorities.

**Key Competencies**:
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Proven experience in coordinating complex events and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of cultural and industry contexts in international engagement.
- Knowledge of government event protocols, sponsorship guidelines, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency in event and marketing software (EventsAir/OnAir, SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.

**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary $85,790 to $95,143 pa plus superannuation

**Qualifications**:

- **Essential**: nil
- **Desirable**: Tertiary qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or equivalent

**Special Conditions**:

- The role will be offered as a full-time (37.5 hours per week) term contract up to December 2025.
- A Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) will be required prior to employment.
