Your Impact
The Strategic Planning function ensures that asset strategies—including maintenance plans, task lists, bills of materials, labour requirements, and work instructions—are effectively implemented and utilised by transactional planners and site teams.
As the Strategy Budget Planner for Boddington Fixed Plant, you will implement, audit and maintain long-term maintenance strategies and plans in SAP/AMT. You will also develop cost models and maintenance budgets using insights from the AM Operating Support Network (OSN), site learnings, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) updates.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively communicate updates and improvements to maintenance strategies driven by OEM updates, site learnings, or AM OSN insights
* Continuously identify and drive opportunities to improve planning activities and implement best practise updates and changes
* Work with site asset owners, site operations and maintenance teams, Asset Management asset health and asset integrity teams to understand asset condition and identify major maintenance activities required to deliver the required asset performance, reduce risk and manage cost.
* Manage the interface with short range asset planning ensuring there are consistent and disciplined processes that confirms tasks are handed over at the required status with agreed pre-planning complete.
* Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets for the site
* Coordinate budget reviews with site and regional leadership to support the annual business plan
* Support maintenance decision-making, including shutdown intervals
* Identify improvements to budgets and life cycle cost models and ensure they are reflected within AMT systems
* Capture approved strategy changes within SAP/AMT systems
* Continuously identify and drive opportunities to improve planning activities and implement best practise updates and changes
* Provide coaching, mentorship, and development for other roles engaged in the maintenance planning discipline such as Asset Planners, on planning processes and be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the usage of the SAP maintenance system.
What You'll Bring
* Sound skills in using AMT
* Sound skills in SAP PM module - Including Management of SAP Master Data including technical objects, maintenance plans, items, task lists, BOM's and measuring points and capable of being developed into a maintenance planning SME
* Advanced skill in Microsoft Office suite of software including Excel, Power query, Power Bi
* Experience with CMS (change management systems)
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance planning or asset strategy environment
* Valid WA C-Class Driver's Licence
