About The Role
Due to continuing strong growth, we have a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Victoria team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for:
* Prepare documentation and presentation material for pre-qualifications and tender of projects.
* Send out inquiries for prices of materials and subcontractors.
* Receive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, tabulate prices and verify that they cover quantities, quality, timelines and all items; make recommendations on supplier/subcontractor selection.
* Carry out take-offs of quantities.
* Prepare sketches, programmes, method statements and minor temporary designs for tender inclusions.
* Seek information from Service Authorities and Councils on asset interferences with construction of the tendered project.
* Obtain information/submissions such as HSEQ plans for inclusion in the tender.
* Collate the tender/pre-qualification documents prior to submission.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
* Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Building Economics, etc.).
* Be a member of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB).
* Be self-sufficient, requiring limited supervision with a focus on results.
* Be competent in the use of MS Office.
* Have a strong commitment to 'Home Without Harm'.
* Be passionate about the organisational values of safety & care, honesty & integrity, customer focus, teamwork and performance excellence.
* Be a permanent resident of Australia.
* Undertake any nominated items on the role and responsibilities matrix issued by the Project Manager.
* Maintain and manage the defect process on Aconex/field.
* Receive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and report thereon for the preparation of variations.
