Oversee the marketing plans for some of Newcastle's most iconic cultural facilities 35-hour week, flexible working, optional 9-day fortnight At the City of Newcastle (CN), we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Lead to join our Media Engagement Economy and Corporate Affairs (MEECA) team in a permanent, full-time capacity.
As our Marketing Lead, you will develop and deliver strategic brand and marketing plans to support CN's cultural facilities (Civic Theatre, Newcastle Museum, Newcastle Art Gallery, Fort Scratchley) as well as City Events including New Annual, CN's arts and cultural festival, corporate and community services.
Taking an audience-led approach, the Marketing Lead helps position CN's services, products and events, maximises commercial potential and drives continuous improvement and innovation.

Remuneration: $128,874.23 + 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week.

Minimum Requirements: Do you have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related qualification, and/or demonstrated capability through past employment experience?
Are you willing and able to work in a dynamic and fluid environment with the flexibility to work outside regular business hours during the evening and on weekends?
Please outline your demonstrated experience converting marketing/communications strategies into measurable commercial and community outcomes.
Describe how you have led a high performing team, supporting a positive environment that enabled team members to achieve successful outcomes and deliver high quality services.
Using examples, tell us about your proven ability to effectively manage complex internal and external stakeholder relationships through negotiation and influence.
