Our client requires a Senior Network Engineer. This role has accountability for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network and security solutions: design, implement, and manage complex network solutions using Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.
Main Accountabilities
* Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Cloud networking and Cloud VoIP systems.
* Develop and implement network design and architecture strategies to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
* Design and implement network segmentation to enhance security and performance.
* Configure and manage routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance and reliability
* Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives
* Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate measures and protocols.
* Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference
* Resolve implementation issues
About you:
* Minimum of 8+ years in network design and security roles
* Proven track record of successful project implementations
* Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks
* Knowledge of OT security principles and IoT security best practices
Qualification Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, Cloud networking, Cloud VoIP, network design and architecture, and network segmentation design and implementation
* Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Meraki Certification) are a plus
