How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space: The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play.

General Accounting Assist with the preparation and posting of routine journal entries.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Perform basic account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Financial Reporting Support Assist in gathering data for management reports and financial statements.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation as required.
Help ensure reporting aligns with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
Assist with customer invoicing and payment allocation.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and assist with credit control tasks.
Help maintain AP/AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
Tax Compliance Support Assist in preparing documentation for BAS/GST, payroll tax, and other statutory filings.
Support the finance team in gathering information for external tax advisors.
Help ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Audit Administration Prepare basic audit support documentation under supervision.
Contribute to internal control reviews and process improvement initiatives.
Perform general administrative duties to support the finance function.
Other General assistance in the Finance Department on accounting matters.
Other duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer / Financial Controller.
Mandatory Qual ifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (completed or near completion).
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience Internship, work placement, or exposure to accounting tasks is advantageous but not required.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and manage competing priorities.
