Our comprehensive service is offered across the municipalities of Mitchell, Murrindindi, Strathbogie, Greater Shepparton, and Moira regions.Our multidisciplinary professionals come from diverse backgrounds and work across various settings and services including:Adult Mental HealthCommunity Mental HealthAged Persons Mental HealthChild and Youth Mental HealthAbout the role:The Enhanced Triage Service is a telephone-based triage service and one of two entry points into the Mental Health Program, the other being the PACER (Police, Ambulance, and Clinical Emergency Response) clinician. It plays a crucial role in the referral process across all sites requiring Mental Health Assessment. It includes all referrals into the Adult, Child and Adolescent (CAMHS), Aged Mental Health Service, and other programs in Mental Health.This position ensures the program runs efficiently. It is vital in establishing initial engagement and building successful relationships with clients to facilitate access to appropriate treatment and advice.Triage is the first step in the recovery process. The Triage Clinician provides high-quality, evidence-based screening and assessment, especially overnight, to help clients address their mental health concerns and aid in the prevention and reduction of symptoms.
