About This Role
This casual/part time or full-time Cook position involves assisting in all aspects of kitchen operation, including food preparation, cleanliness, and ensuring food safety compliance.
* Food preparation and plate presentation are key responsibilities. Ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and its equipment is also crucial.
* Cleaning and maintaining kitchen appliances, utensils, and workstations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic environment for food preparation.
* The ability to prepare and store food safely and efficiently is vital for success in this role.
* A focus on general cleaning and dish washing duties, including scrubbing pots and pans, and keeping the kitchen tidy.
In addition to these tasks, the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to multitask, and maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as the pace of the kitchen can be fast-paced and demanding.
