We are seeking a skilled Grill Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
You will play a key role in crafting exquisite seafood dishes that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality seafood dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to our menu standards
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
* Source and select fresh, sustainable ingredients, with a focus on local Tasmanian produce
* Contribute creative ideas to enhance the dining experience
* Mentor and train junior kitchen staff as needed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef in a fast paced/high-end restaurant, preferably with a focus on seafood
* Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
* Culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
