The role of Secretary - Director of Nursing and Midwifery is a pivotal position that requires exceptional administrative support to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

As the backbone of administrative support, you will be responsible for monitoring workflow, prioritizing work, and assisting with meeting deadlines. Your communication skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining meticulous records.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, this role is responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential administrative, secretarial and receptionist service to the Nursing and Midwifery Director and Women's and Children Division by:
* Liaising with other departments, health, and tertiary education institutions to arrange and confirm appointments or meetings.
* Answering incoming telephone calls and redirecting to the appropriate Departmental member if available.
* Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general clerical, typing and receptionist tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails and preparing reports.
* Develop, maintain, and control appropriate records and filing systems.
* Use computer software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Requirements
* Demonstrated ability to use word processing software.
* Demonstrated ability to provide a dictaphone typing service.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision in meeting objectives.
* Proven experience in providing general comprehensive and confidential clerical, typing and receptionist tasks.
