What You'll Be Doing
As a Key Account Manager, your days will be varied and rewarding. You'll:
* Build strong relationships with strategic clients and be their go-to person.
* Plan and visit accounts, ensuring campaigns and disease-prevention strategies are executed successfully.
* Coordinate internal teams to make sure your clients get the support they need.
* Analyse industry and customer data to create high-value solutions.
* Lead account planning reviews and develop strategic plans for each client.
* Manage budgets and programs for your accounts while ensuring profitability.
* Keep track of all interactions and updates in the CRM system.
* Attend events and trade shows, representing the portfolio and building your network.
In short: you'll be the person who keeps clients happy, drives sales, and ensures animal health solutions are delivered efficiently.
Who We're Looking For
We're after someone who is motivated, organised, and confident working independently, but also thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate:
* Has 3+ years' experience in sales or key account management, ideally in animal health or veterinary products
* Holds a degree in Business, Commerce, Veterinary, or Animal Science
* Excels at relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving
* Can analyse data and use insights to make smart account decisions
* Is self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* Has experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Is willing to travel regularly to meet clients across your region
