Synergex Project Services Pty Ltd is a Townsville-based project delivery and construction services company delivering infrastructure and construction projects across Queensland and regional Australia.
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support tendering, planning, and delivery of civil construction projects. This role offers flexible working arrangements with a mix of work-from-home, office, and site-based work, including travel to project locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with pricing and tender preparation for civil projects
* Obtain and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Develop and maintain cost trackers, budgets, and cost reports
* Prepare construction methodologies, plans, and documentation
* Support project mobilisation and project kick-offs
* Assist with program development and optimisation of project schedules
* Coordinate subcontractors and monitor project progress
* Support QA and project compliance documentation
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar
* Construction Industry White Card
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Experience in tendering, estimating, and cost management
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tendering, estimating, and cost management is required
* Experience working with contractors on both large and small construction projects
* Minimum 5+ years of experience working with contractors on construction projects is required
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
* Australian permanent work rights are required for this position
