Lead Workforce Training Across Corporate & Operational Teams!
Join our Corporate and Support Services team as a Permanent Full Time Senior Training Officer, delivering high quality learning and development programs across Travel Services, Clinical Administration Support, Operational Services and Supply Services. This is a pivotal role focused on workforce capability, compliance, safety and service excellence across facilities including remote sites within North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS).
About the role
In this role you will lead the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of training programs for Corporate and Support Services staff across administrative and operational areas including cleaning, catering, porterage, laundry and stores. You will ensure training aligns with legislative requirements, workplace health and safety standards, and the National Standards while supporting workforce development and continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
* Design, deliver and evaluate competency-based training programs for administrative and operational staff across multiple facilities, including remote sites.
* Conduct training needs and gap analysis, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, industry standards and organisational frameworks.
* Monitor, assess and report on training effectiveness through audits, assessments and evidence-based reporting tools.
* Provide high level advice and oversight on learning and development programs while maintaining strong stakeholder networks across the state.

Requirements
* Whilst not mandatory a current:
o Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (equivalent qualification) or the ability to complete is highly desirable.
o Accredited Food Safety Supervisor qualification or the ability to complete qualification within three (3) months of commencement is highly desirable.
* Experience in the delivery of training programs and ability to carry out audits, observations and inspections is desirable.
* Travel to all NWHHS facilities for service delivery purposes as required.
* The incumbent maybe required to work outside of normal hours.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
* A period of probation may apply.
