**The Organisation**
Our client is a complex Not-For-Profit business with an expanding presence across Queensland. Due to a period of change and expansion, they have a role available for an experienced Procurement & Fleet Manager.
**The Role**
This role plays a pivotal role in overseeing procurement and fleet operations, ensuring strategic sourcing, and fostering commercial engagements for all necessary goods and services. This role demands adherence to organizational policies, legal requirements, and business objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop efficient and financially sustainable procurement solutions aligned with strategic direction.
- Engage with external procurement hubs to ensure active participation in projects for optimal outcomes.
- Manage contracts and supply agreements effectively, addressing supply performance and managing complaints.
- Review procurement and fleet policies regularly to ensure alignment with operational and strategic plans.
- Educate the organization on compliance with procurement and fleet policies.
- Analyse and report on procurement and fleet expenditure, patterns, and trends to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in developing an annual procurement plan aligned with organizational goals and budgets.
- Oversee trials for recent equipment/products, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Lead the quotation/tender procurement process, including document preparation and evaluation.
- Maintain a centralized register of procurement documents and ensure consistent administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with relevant bodies to achieve environmental targets.
- Develop strategies to ensure motor vehicle safety and compliance with legislation.
- Collaborate with insurers and risk managers to reduce crash risks and severity.
**About You**
- Relevant Tertiary qualification and prior experience in a comparable role.
- Prior experience in a NFP or relatable community services organisation will be highly regarded.
- Ability to manage, interpret, manipulate, and report from database systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in staff supervision.
- Prior experience in building a function or restabilising a team will be beneficial, although no essential.
