Our client, a national organisation within the aviation sector, have created a new permanent opportunity for a highly experienced Technology Project Delivery Lead.
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
As a leader of Technology Project Delivery Lead, reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for managing and deploying a technology project delivery capability across the organisation. This includes management of a resource pool of Project Managers and other project professionals who are deployed to undertake projects across the business Change Portfolio and also managing the relationship with third party "as a service" project delivery providers to deploy their services where appropriate.
Further, you will lead, develop, implement and operate the delivery frameworks and processed to ensure the successful execution of the Project Delivery objective. Working with Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), you will assist in determining the right delivery approach to undertake a project and then deploy the necessary resources, or engage with an external delivery partner, to undertake and execute the works. Once projects are in-flight, your role manages a common performance framework for all projects to meet while they simultaneously deliver on outcomes to meet the Program Manager and SRO needs.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE**:
**Position Specific**
- Deliver the Technology project delivery capability across the organisations Change Portfolio, with demonstration of project and program management best practice.
- Drive project performance within agreed baselines and foster a culture of performance and delivery.
- Deliver a Technology project delivery framework to assure appropriate standards, capabilities and methodologies are applied. This framework must work in tandem with the other deliver/delivery support frameworks and those that exist across the business.
- Define and evolve a minimum performance standard for Technology Project Management and manage performance against this standard
- Promote a learning organisation through the ongoing continuous improvement and education of key stakeholders.
- Manage the branch within assigned delegations and agreed quality and risk parameters.
- Oversight and manage branch budget and performance targets, including the promotion of an efficient and cost-conscious culture across Project Delivery.
**People Leadership**
- Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performance team with an emphasis on creating an accountable performance culture.
- Maintain high-quality and productive relationship with the organisations leadership to ensure effective co-ordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance, plan and build organisational capacity and resourcing of the branch. Compliance, Systems and Reporting
- Drive implementation of enterprise governance systems and policies, including safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance.
**Safety**
- Demonstrate safety leadership and behaviours consistent with enterprise strategies, and manage the branch in accordance with WHS accountability requirements
**MANDATORY**:
- Must be Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain the relevant Security Clearance.
- Portfolio, Program and/or Project management qualifications, with supporti
