Job Overview
We are seeking a Claims Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the claims process and providing outstanding support.
Main Responsibilities:
* Build effective working relationships with injured customers, family members, legal providers, and medical professionals to drive successful outcomes.
* Determine liability and manage a portfolio of CTP claims for customers with injuries following a motor vehicle accident.
* Make key liability decisions and assess claims for reasonable and necessary treatment.
* Assess and manage injury needs, handle correspondence regarding CTP benefits, treatment, rehabilitation, and interpret medical reports.
* Provide timely and effective responses to customer needs and ensure accurate processing of claims.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in a comparable industry or case management experience desirable but not essential.
* Strong drive and interest in leveraging your customer-focused experience to grow a case-management career.
* Earnest style and customer-focused approach, able to walk beside our customers.
* Ability to handle difficult situations professionally while resolving complex issues.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide advice and guidance to others.
