Project Management Coordinator – Temporary
Dubbo Regional Council is looking for a temporary Project Management Coordinator to shape our region. This role is a 12‑month parental leave contract (length will vary depending on the length of the parent leave).
About the Role
The Project Management Coordinator supports the Project Management Office in the delivery, embedding, and enhancement of the Project Management Framework across the Council. You will provide support, guidance and advice to Project Leaders for Operational and Capital construction projects, coordinate project resources, and manage stakeholder meetings, records management, and budget tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee Council's project portfolio and produce monthly reporting.
* Proactively engage in project meetings with Project Managers, Contractors and stakeholders, including managing data, records and actionable items.
* Ensure effective communications across all project stakeholders and construction partners.
* Manage allocated projects and budget processes.
* Maintain the project management framework and software.
What You'll Bring
* Diploma in Project Management, Civil Construction Management, Building Surveying or related discipline.
* Extensive experience in the quality control and delivery of building or civil infrastructure projects.
* Highly developed communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated experience in organising and managing conflicting work priorities.
We Would Also Love If You Have
* Experience in tender preparation and contract management.
* Local Government experience.
* Degree qualification in a related discipline.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $104,751 – $121,738.
