As a UX Copywriter, you’ll play a key role in designing digital content that empowers users to understand their long service leave entitlements, navigate our platforms with confidence, and complete tasks with ease. You'll also ensure our content meets regulatory standards while making it accessible for our members to navigate. Description In this newly created role, joining our Product and Experience team, you’ll craft clear, accessible, and engaging digital content that helps users confidently navigate our platforms and understand their entitlements. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team of designers, developers, and subject matter experts to simplify complex information and enhance the overall user experience. This role will require you to: Write and optimise content for websites, applications, and online forms Use research and data to improve the user journey experience Ensure content is consistent, inclusive, and meets accessibility standards Contribute to a central content hub and champion best practices Help reduce customer effort by improving self-service options Join a values-driven team where your ideas are welcomed, your expertise is respected, and your work makes a real impact. Skills And Experiences We’re looking for a thoughtful and collaborative UX Copywriter who is passionate about crafting content that makes a real difference. You bring a keen eye for detail, a user-first mindset, and a proactive approach to solving problems. You will bring key skills including: Experience writing UX content or working in content design, especially in government or compliance-driven environments A knack for turning complex legal or policy information into clear, user-friendly language A solid understanding of how content supports great design, accessibility, and user experience Confidence using content management systems, design tools, and analytics platforms Know-how in SEO and making content perform at its best Strong organisational skills—you’re great at juggling multiple projects A sharp eye for detail and a passion for producing quality content Excellent communication skills, you listen well, write clearly, and collaborate with ease You will be a stand-out if you can demonstrate: An understanding of long service leave entitlements Experience with user research, content strategy, or usability testing Familiarity with AI tools—or an interest in learning Experience working in Agile teams Don’t meet every requirement?
