Job description:
Your role
As a Senior EWM Consultant you will lead the design and configuration of a Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) stock room setup in Melbourne, Australia. This initiative is part of pilot implementation for future MRO locations globally.
In this role you will:
* Lead the end-to-end design and configuration of SAP EWM for the MRO stock room.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate functional requirements.
* Develop and document the EWM solution architecture tailored to MRO operations.
* Configure SAP EWM modules to support inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, and stock room processes.
* Conduct system testing, user training, and cutover activities.
* Provide post-go-live support through hypercare and stabilization phases.
* Work closely with global teams to ensure scalability and reusability of the pilot design for future deployments.
Your profile
* 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation and configuration with proven track record of delivering MRO or similar warehouse solutions in SAP.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and integration with SAP S4HANA.
* Expertise in at least three end-to-end EWM implementations, including hands-on configuration.
* Proficiency with both Decentralized EWM and S/4HANA EWM environments.
* Experience in integrating automation systems such as ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles).
* Strong experience with RF and voice-based solutions.
* Familiarity with Agile implementation methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
* Experience in Process and/or Discrete Manufacturing environments.
