About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Lead a shared vision for quality learning: Guide the department to develop, articulate, and commit to a clear educational vision that ensures high-quality outcomes for all students.
Embed equity and excellence in practice: Promote socially just practices in daily operations while maintaining high expectations for student achievement and staff performance.
Foster continuous professional growth: Actively engage in lifelong learning and support ongoing professional development within the department.
Build collaborative partnerships: Strengthen relationships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups to enhance learning opportunities and outcomes.
Lead strategically and manage resources effectively: Operate with a future-focused mindset, understand relevant legislation and policies, and manage human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
