About the role
We're looking for a Corporate Accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being a subject matter expert. In this pivotal role, you'll be the primary preparer for group finance processes related to month‑end close, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
Working within our Finance Systems team, you'll collaborate across Finance and Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, continuous improvement, and strong control frameworks. If you love problem-solving, process optimisation, and stakeholder engagement, this role offers it all.
What you'll be doing
* Owning and maintaining the month‑end timetable
* Preparing and processing manual journals (accruals, prepayments, adjustments)
* Performing general ledger reconciliations and ensuring P&L accuracy
* Coordinating fixed asset additions, retirements and register updates
* Completing quarterly ABS surveys
* Supporting finance process improvements, documentation and automation initiatives
* Assisting the treasury team with One‑Time Payment requests
* Working closely with key finance stakeholders across the business
What you'll bring

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
* CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
Skills & Experience
* Experience with large-scale finance systems – SAP ECC/S4 HANA is a bonus
* Confidence handling high‑volume accounting data
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and month‑end processes
* Analytical mindset with a knack for spotting anomalies
* Effective communication skills across all levels
* Exposure to automation tools (RPA, Excel Power Query, AI literacy)
