About the business and the role
We are seeking a hands-on and motivated motel management couple to oversee all operational and commercial activities of our well-established business. The motel is an hour drive away from Melbourne with less than 20 rooms.
If you are friendly, honest, dedicated and a committed management couple ready to reach and exceed customer satisfaction levels this role is for you.

Skills and experience
The successful applicant will have the following characteristics:
- Proven experience in managing a large accommodation venue
- Must have working permits
- Knowledge and experience in developing wholesale and retail distribution channels relating to hotel and accommodation services
- A good working knowledge of day to day requirements associated with small hotel that offers a full range of services including breakfast services
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Front office check in, outs and enquiries
- Guest, group and company account facilitation, quoting and liaising
- General maintenance and repairs, gardening and cleaning inspections
- Housekeeping
- Staff rosters, training, and reviews
- Coordination of the conference centre
- Changing room prices based on market conditions
