This is a Junior Planner role with Best and Less based in Rhodes, NSW, AU

The Role
Working closely with your Buyer and Allocator to drive the success of your business, as a Junior Planner at B&L;, you are involved with all aspects of the business – from the strategic vision of your department to where stock is finally allocated.
Areas of Responsibility
- Participate in the development of the seasonal merchandise strategy and presentation to CEO.
- Manage OTB and Inventory.
- Coach and mentor Allocators.
- Analyse the performance of a portfolio to drive improvement.
- Drive financial targets – sales, gross profit, stock turn, GMROI, aged stock.
- Contribute positively in a rapid-paced environment.
Who You Are
- 2-3 years of experience in a seasonal business, preferably within impulse and general merchandise.
- Proven experience managing a high SKU volume, particularly in categories like accessories and general merchandise.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical skills.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to problem-solve creatively and contribute positively in a fast-paced, high-volume business.
